Agency Platform — Community App Development Framework

The Agency Platform is organised around six connected areas. They are not just sequential steps; they form a lifecycle:

Plan → Build → Fill → Monetize → Maintain → Grow

Each area has a distinct purpose, but they feed one another. Plan informs Build. Build enables Fill. Fill creates value to Monetize. Monetize funds Maintain. Maintain sustains Grow. Grow feeds learning back into Plan.

— Define the Vision and User Journey

Introduction:
Plan Your App is the strategic foundation of the Community App. This is where an idea becomes a shared blueprint: who the app is for, why it exists, what success looks like, and how members will move through the experience. It aligns stakeholders, reduces wasted build effort, and ensures the app is designed around real community needs rather than assumptions.

Areas to address in this section:

Vision and mission: purpose, community value proposition, and long-term direction.
Audience and community discovery: member segments, personas, roles, needs, pain points, motivations, and behaviours.
Problem and opportunity: the gap the app fills, market/community context, and validation approach.
User journey: first touch, onboarding, core usage loop, retention, advocacy, and exit/re-engagement paths.
Feature and MVP scope: must-have vs. later features, prioritisation, and minimum viable community experience.
Community model: membership types, governance, norms, moderation approach, and member roles.
Success metrics: KPIs, outcomes, measurement plan, and definition of success.
Brand and positioning: name, tone, identity direction, and differentiation.
Constraints and risks: budget, timeline, technology, legal, compliance, privacy, and operational capacity.
Roadmap and resourcing: milestones, stakeholders, team roles, dependencies, and launch readiness criteria.

Outcome: A validated app blueprint, prioritised roadmap, and clear user journey.
